Federico Luis

Federico Luis was born in Buenos Aires in 1990. His debut feature 'Simon of the Mountain' won the Grand Prix at Cannes Critics’ Week 2024, as well as Best Film at Munich and Lima. In 2023, 'En el mismísimo momento' won Best Short Film at the IDFA, and 'Quédate quieto o te amo' won Best Short Film at Mar del Plata. His short film 'La Siesta' premiered at the Official Short Film Competition at the Cannes 2019, won BAFICI and received an Honorable Mention at TIFF. He is currently developing his second feature, 'The Dog Trainer', selected at The Residence of Cannes, TorinoFilmLab, the Spanish Film Academy Residency and Oxbelly.
