Helmut Dosantos is a screenwriter, director, producer and photographer. He is the founder of the independent film production companies Fulgura Frango (Mexico) and Narvalus Films (USA). His first feature-length documentary as a Producer, "Tony Driver" by Ascanio Petrini (produced together with Dugong Films), premiered in 2019 at the Venice Film Festival, Film Critics’ Week. He is also Co-producer for "Prayers for the Stolen" by Tatiana Huezo (Cannes, Un Certain Regard, 2021); and Executive Producer for "Atlantide" by Yuri Ancarani (Venice Film Festival, Orizzonti, 2021). "Gods of Mexico", his debut documentary as a Director, screened at numerous festivals and has been recently nominated for the Silver Ariel as Best Feature Length Documentary (Mexico, 2023).
